Thank you everyone who helped to make Womenfest 2011 such a great success.  Our event hosts, our sponsors, our volunteers, our entertainers, and of course the women who attended in record numbers!  It’s hard to name all the highlights of the event.  Julie Goldman, Jackie Monahan, and Gloria Bigelow had the sold out audience screaming with laughter at he Curiously Strong Comedy Show.  The women from the original film ‘Jan’s Coming Out’ kept us entertained on and off the screen at the packed out US Premiere of the movie.  The Leslie Leonelli Memorial Women’s Golf Classic gave women the chance to show-off their back swing.  The music of Natalia Zuckerman and Adrianne Gonzalez brought the audience to their feet at the Studios of Key West ‘Art is Song’ Tour.  Southernmost Hotel, Pearl’s Key West, and Alexander’s Guest House kept all the women wet at their very adult pool parties.  Sunset Watersports, Fury Water Adventure, Venus Charters, and Barefoot Billy’s made sure everyone had maximum fun off “the rock,” and Aqua Night Club, Cowboy Bill’s Hog’s Breath Saloon, 801 Bar, and Smokin’ Tuna had us dancing the nights away with great music played by amazing women.

A special thank you goes to our sponsors, including Olivia, Curve, Key West Butterfly Conservatory, Bud Light and Select 55, Barefoot Wine, She Magazine, Gir(L) Magazine, LGB, South Florida Gay News, My Lesbian Radio, SheWired.com, Mark’s List, Cape Air, OMG Magazine, Centennial Bank, Girls Gay Days, LesbianLush.com, Watermark Publications, Minerva Productions, Damron Travel, First State Bank, and the Monroe Tourist Development Council.

Be sure to check out Womenfest Key West on Facebook and see all the great pictures from the week!

She hit over 12,000 hits on Itunes for her cd History in K-West and has been nominated Female DJ of the year at various underground events.
